Restaurant and Small Business COVID-19 Aid – Cloture

Description:

Schumer, D-N.Y., motion to invoke cloture on the Schumer motion to proceed to the bill that would provide $48 billion for Small Business Administration financial assistance to restaurants and small businesses that lost revenue due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including $40 billion for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund; $2 billion for gyms and fitness centers; $2 billion for live venues and related businesses; $2 billion for transportation providers; $1.5 billion for businesses near the U.S. border affected by federal border closures and travel restrictions; and $500 million for minor league sports teams. As an offset, it would rescind approximately $5 billion in unobligated SBA funds provided by previous coronavirus relief laws.
